I've always struggled with having thinning, sun-damaged hair and started working on this product in 2021 to solve that problem.
When I began developing Sun Powder, I was horrified to learn that 20% of all skin cancer-related deaths are caused by scalp melanoma. I knew that if I didn’t find a product I enjoyed using daily, my risk of being in that group would be high.
Having fine hair means it gets oily quickly, so I've always used dry shampoo. However, I struggled to find a product with easy application that didn't use aerosol. Aerosol bottles are single-use and contain harmful chemicals for both you and the environment, so I wanted to create a product that addressed this issue as well.
Plus, Sun Powder is travel-friendly! I personally use Sun Powder every day and I absolutely love it. I hope you will too. Thank you so much for supporting my small business; it means the absolute world to me!
